Outreach Programs

The students of the Rabbinical College of Sydney support Sydney’s Jewish community as religious functionaries and communal workers.

Students devote many hours each week to community service, assisting the majority of Sydney’s synagogues. It is these young men who have significantly enhanced programs such as South Head Youth, Studio Central and Tzivos Hashem.

The students work closely with the Jewish day schools as well as the Board of Jewish Education, providing hands-on programs for Jewish private and public school students.

As a supplement to their Jewish education or in preparation for Bar Mitzvah, school students often attend the Rabbinical College after school and on weekends to learn one on one with the rabbinical students.

Other Yeshiva outreach programs include huge outdoor Chanukah celebrations, ongoing youth activities and camps, Lag B’omer parades, model matzah bakeries, shofar factories, house and hospital visits, Purim parties and Pesach sedarim.
